The Seventh Annual Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions Technical Conference was once again a huge success. This year’s conference, “New Diagnostic Concepts for Better Asset Management,” was held at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, LA, from September 15-17, 2009. There were approximately 160 participants including attendees, speakers and exhibitors. Representatives were from utilities, service companies, insurance companies, government agencies and manufacturers.
Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions presents a seminar on diagnostic testing of electrical equipment utilizing laboratory methods. Dissolved gas analysis (DGA), degradation of cellulose insulation, dielectric fluid assessment, oil circuit breaker (OCB) and load tap changer (LTC) diagnostic evaluation will be discussed. Electrical engineers and anyone responsible for electrical equipment maintenance will benefit from the valuable ideas and suggestions that will be presented.
